CUSTOM WATERCOOED PC

What is a custom watercooled gaming PC?
A general PCs cools down the hot CPU and GPU with high-speed air by PC fans, but a watercooled PCs cools them down with special chemical liquid flowing through pump, pipe, water-blocks and radiators. The PC fan’s air located in the radiators cools down the liquid flowing through waterblocks on the CPU and GPU chipsets.

Is custom watercooled gaming PC heavy?
Yes, compared to normal gaming PCs, watercooled PCs contain a lot more cooling components and 1 to 3 litres of coolant, so they generally weigh between 20 to 40 kg. Therefore, when you are thinking about purchasing a desk for a custom watercooled gaming PC, we recommend that you will choose a sturdy desk.

How loud is custom watercooled PC?
Our computer is very quiet, but it is not noiseless. Since the fan speed can be adjusted with the remote control or automatic setting, it may be a bit noisy when you play games because the fan will be at full speed. For safe and stable performance of your PC, the fan runs at high speed during gaming.

What is the difference between single and dual cooling systems?
Single cooling system refers that only CPU is cooled down with one pump and one radiator while dual cooling system refers that CPU and GPU are both cooled down with one or two pumps and over two radiators. Dual cooling system has a much higher cooling performance than a single cooling system, which is cheaper because of fewer cooling parts.

Why are custom watercooling PCs are more expensive than normal PCs?
Although most people tend to think only net parts cost, custom watercooling PCs are usually more expensive than normal PCs because of the expensive cooling parts and time-consuming building work. Building custom watercooled PCs is extremely sensitive work demanding very high skills and the net price of cooling parts are usually between £400 and over £2,000. We are looking forward to meeting buyers who appreciate the value of our unique design rather than parts cost.

Can I connect 2 or 3 monitors?
Yes, you can. Usually, up to four monitors can be connected to a graphics card, and more monitors can be connected using an external USB monitor connector or onboard graphic card.

Do you provide a warranty?
Yes, we offer a 24-month warranty for hardware issues. Software issues are not supported because most problems are related to each game or Windows, but the software issue can be solved by reinstalling Windows or the specific game. Because the computer is very heavy, only in-person repairs are possible, so a visiting fee (£50~£150) may be charged depending on distance.

How can I know if my PC is being built after payment?
We upload photos of the building process every evening. You can enjoy how your own computer is being assembled.

Can you send me more photos before I purchase?
Yes, we can. Just simply click ‘Contact seller’ link and message us. We will reply you as soon as possible.

I am living in Scotland. Can I buy your PC?
Unfortunately, since we deliver in person, we can only deliver to England and Wales.
Because Scotland is so far away, delivery costs are too high, and driving time is too long.
Delivery to Northern Ireland is also not possible.

BUILDING PROCESS

How long does it take to build a custom watercooling PC?
It usually takes 5 to 7 working days. Building custom watercooling PCs is extremely time-consuming work with high skills. Moreover, it takes long to install Windows and each hardware driver as well as the necessary testing. Please kindly understand that it might be delayed by high volume of orders but we will let you know in advance.

What is the process after payment?
After order and payment is completed, we will collect all the parts and complete the pre-faulty check. If the pre-faulty check is passed, Windows and each driver will be installed and a benchmark test is performed before assembly. This period takes approximately 2 to 3 days. After that, assembly begins, and the building process photos will be are daily uploaded through ebay messages, so you can enjoy how your PC is being built. It will take a total of 5-7 days, and the delivery date and arrival time will be discussed with you when all the building processes are completed. We will notify you of the ETA upon departure on the delivery date. Upon arrival, we will carefully bring your PC to your room and even set up on your desk for you.

MAINTENANCE

Can I put my PC on the wall without gap?
No. Since the hot air from the radiator comes out from the side of the PC, you must leave at least 10cm.

Can I put my PC on the carpet floor?
No, we don’t recommend it. Our product allows cold air to flow into the computer from underneath, so the carpet can block the airflow underneath. In addition, because dust from the carpet can enter the computer directly, it can cause a lot of dust to accumulate in the fan or radiator. If you must place your computer on a carpeted floor, we recommend placing a wooden panel and putting the PC on the panel.

How often should I replace the coolant?
There is no need to replace the coolant for about 3 years. Powder-based coolant needs to be replaced once every six months, but since we use non-powder coolant, replacement is not necessary for about three years.

Does leaking commonly happen?
Although many people are concerned about leakage, VIXIA PCs have an extremely low risk of leaking and we have not received many reports of leaking. Moreover, the leaking reported we have received was caused by the user’s bad room environment such as too high room temperature, lack of ventilation or too much dust inside of the PCs. You do not have to worry even if there is leaking on your system because our coolant has extremely low conductivity that does not affect your system.

What would be the main cause of leaking??
The most common cause of leaking issue is a poor user environment. If your gaming room temperature is too high or there is lack of ventilation, the coolant temperature would gradually increase because the hot air in the room cannot cool down the radiators. As the coolant temperature increases, the hard tubes would be softened, and the fittings would be slowly loosen at the gap between the softened tubes and will loosen fittings where most leaking starts. For the best computer performance, keep your room temperature below 20 degrees and coolant temperature below 50 degrees. If the coolant temperature is above 50 degrees, you should open the windows and door in your room to keep the room temperature low.

What kind of maintenance should I need?
Our watercooled PCs require no special maintenance. However, regular dust removal, low room temperature management, and keeping the coolant temperature low are highly recommended for the best PC performance.

How should I keep my gaming room condition?
As with all gaming computer user rooms, we recommend keeping the room temperature below 20 degrees and opening the window to allow cold air from outside to come in and hot air to flow out quickly. You should not put your PC in an open kitchen as the oily dust from cooking will be stuck on the fans and radiator heatsinks badly causing the system to become overheated. Remove dust from inside the fan at least once every six months.

What should I do, if coolant temperature is over 50 degrees?
We install a coolant temperature display on all our PCs. If the liquid temperature exceeds 50 degrees, close the game you are playing and keep the PC idling for 10~20 minutes while opening windows and the door in your room for better ventilation.
